Project Description
Challenge
La Roggia is a farmhouse and organic food restaurant in the lake Como area. They offer a regular restaurant service on top of a local shop where they sell home-made products. They also offer coupons and will soon provide overnight acommodations in the forest. They needed a website to encompass all these aspects of the business.
Strategy
We decided to leverage a multi-page website paying particular attention to the information architecture, as not to overwhelm the users with too much information. Being the restaurant the primary business, we decided to focus on the basic information and functions (opening hours, reservations) on the home page, while inviting the user to further explore the philosophy and history of the place.
Approach
I created a multi-page website presenting the restaurant as a primary business, while inviting the user to explore other parts of the website through internal CTAs, ensuring multiple smooth user journeys for different intents.
